What is RefWorks?

RefWorks is an online research management, writing and collaboration tool. It is designed to help researchers easily gather, manage, store and share all types of information, as well as generate citations and bibliographies.

The library provides RefWorks access to all UNC Asheville students, faculty and staff.

It is available on-campus, off-campus or wherever you have an internet connection!

Refworks is an online research management, writing and collaboration tool that will allow researchers to

  • import citations from online databases like Ebsco and JSTOR,
  • organize citations into folders,
  • format and export bibliographies in MLA, APA, Chicago, AMA and more,
  • share bibliographies with classmates or colleagues.
