There are a number of guides for students reading philosophy. These guides can be classified in two categories. The first category includes bibliographic overviews of the field where the most important sources in each area of philosophy are cited. The second category includes books that will help students reading philosophy and writing papers. Presented here is a select list of both kinds of guides.
