Video Production

The Video Production unit of TLTR is located on the lower level of Ramsey Library in Suite 30.  Our office schedules and operates a television studio and audio recording lab, performs post-production video editing, and produces programming 'live-to-tape' in various locations around the UNC Asheville campus.  Live web streaming can be produced simultaneously.  Requests should be submitted by UNC Asheville faculty or staff at least two weeks in advance and are approved by a committee on a priority basis based on staff and resource availability.

Video programming is recorded by the Video Production Manager or Video Production student assistants, and captured/edited in High Definition with camcorders or professional ENG equipment. Programs are delivered in Quick Time or .mpeg4 formats in high definition and/or in standard definition DVD format.

Copies of some campus events as well as events produced by UNC Asheville and broadcast on the Asheville Educational Television channel are available for check out in the Media Browsing area  on the main level of Ramsey library. All programs are in Standard Definition DVD format.  Additionally, some programs can be viewed on the UNCA Ramsey Library Video Production YouTube channel.
