Using the Library: Retired Faculty

Retired faculty may: 

• Check out books for 30 days and DVDs & CDs for 7 days
• Access online resources via NC LIVE (Contact us at libref@unca.edu for authentication credentials.)  
• Access most of UNCA's e-resources while visiting Ramsey Library in person.

Emeritus faculty also retain library privileges such as requesting books from ASU, WCU, and NC A&T as well as placing holds. For those services, please log into your account using your Ramsey Library card number and password. Emeritus faculty also have access to many UNCA e-resources off campus by using a separate set of login credentials librarians can provide upon verification of your status.
