Renewing Materials: Home

You have two options for renewing materials:

• Stop by the Library Service Desk on the main floor of Ramsey Library
• Renew online with your library account.

Interlibrary loans: To inquire about interlibrary loans, call the ILL Office (828-251-6436) at least 5 days prior to the due date.

Print Materials: Print materials have a 30 day checkout period and can be renewed up to 3 times.

DVDs/CDs: DVDs and CDs have a 7 day checkout period and can be renewed up to 2 times.

Current Periodicals/Journals: Current Periodicals have a 7 day checkout period and can be renewed once.

Materials cannot be renewed if:

• You have already had 2 renewals
• The items are overdue*
• Another patron has placed a "Hold" on the item(s)
• Your record is blocked due to outstanding obligations

*Self-renewals are permitted on or before the due date.
