Meet the RLCAA!

Please join us in welcoming our 2018 Ramsey Library Community Author on Friday, April 6 from 4:30 – 6:30pm in the Ramsey Library Red Oak Room.

Local writer, poet and journalist Alli Marshall has been named the 2018 UNC Asheville Ramsey Library Community Author Award (RCLAA).

Marshall is the arts & entertainment section editor for Mountain Xpress, where she has worked since 2004. She is the author of How to Talk to Rockstars, the chapbook It All Comes Rushing Back: Essays on Love, and the zines Curb Service Gospel and Sleeping on Rooftops. Her work has been published in Fredericksburg Literary & Art ReviewShuffleBlurt! and Our State, among many others. She has won numerous awards for her fiction, including the 2016 Thomas Wolfe Fiction Prize and the 2016 Shrewd Writer Award, as well as awards for her journalism.
