Walking Resoures for Asheville

Asheville has two walking "trails" downtown:

Asheville Urban Trail - A walking tour of downtown Asheville. Maps and information are available on this page.

Asheville Architecture Trail - A walking tour of historic buildings in downtown Asheville. Maps and information are available on this page.

Danny Bernstein is a respected hiker who has published several books on hiking in the region. She has also done an 18 mile urban hike in Ashville and West Asheville, following a route used by two hikers training for the legendary Camino de Santiago hike/pilgrimage in Spain.
