The Control room (RAM 001A) houses the equipment and operations for the TV studio. Student and staff technicians operate the Newtek Tricaster 855 Extreme video switcher, Tascam audio mixer, teleprompter, character generator and other equipment when producing programs in this facility. The basic setup consists of three HD cameras (HD/SDI), four lavalier microphones, one boom microphone, a PC computer for adding green screen backgrounds, another PC for operating "Live Text" (character generator), and a third PC for running the teleprompters.
