The Media Design Lab is an interactive learning space where students, faculty and staff from all academic departments create podcasts, videos, infographics, websites, printed designs and more. Lab assistants are available to help you through the process so no experience is needed!
In addition to a wide range of software, the lab includes a scanner, headphones, drawing tablets and memory card readers. Click here for details.
The TV Studio next door includes cameras, various sets, and a wall-to-floor green screen. You can also record in the Audio Lab. In both spaces, previous experience is not required since technicians operate the equipment for you, and use is limited to course assignments only. On the other hand, the self service Audio Recording Studio and self service Video Recording Studio are both available for academic and personal projects as well.
You can also check out cameras, tripods, and microphones at the library circulation desk. If you need help using equipment or with editing your video, Media Design Lab staff can provide instruction.
We look forward to meeting you!
