Our group study rooms feature either a whiteboard or chalkboard, a monitor with a DVI connection available for electronic devices, and tables for groups to spread out and study. At least two (2) RockyCard holders must be present to check out one of these rooms. These rooms are reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis. |

Students may reserve a private research carrel on a semester-by-semester basis, featuring a desk, ample storage for research materials, and a unique keycode for the door. Priority is given to seniors undertaking undergraduate research projects. |
Faculty Research Carrels |

Ramsey Library has a limited number of enclosed carrels available for faculty use. Full-time members of the faculty who are actively engaged in research, writing, or curricular development projects requiring ready access to library resources are eligible to apply for a study carrel. Requests for carrels from other members of the UNC Asheville community may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Large, open carrels with lockable cabinets are also available for faculty use if an enclosed carrel is not available. |
